Industry Experience
Anthony Wall has cultivated over 35 years of leadership experience, primarily within the telecommunications sector, delivering large-scale operational outcomes for complex organisations. From 1988 to 2021, Anthony advanced through progressively senior roles at Telstra, Australia’s largest telecommunications company. These included National Operations Manager, Program Director, and ultimately General Manager by 2017. His responsibilities ranged from operational control to digital transformation and enterprise-wide change.

He led national portfolios with budgets exceeding $120 million, supervised teams of over 550 people, and influenced more than 1,400 contractors and staff. At Telstra, he spearheaded a $20 million annual cost-saving initiative by eliminating 240,000 unnecessary truck rolls and launched a new field service offering that generated $55 million in revenue. He also oversaw the relocation of a 700-person business process centre to Mumbai, demonstrating international program delivery expertise.
More recently, Anthony has applied his strategic and governance capabilities in executive advisory roles for the Queensland Government and Virgin Australia. At Virgin, he led the creation of a new project assurance framework. His career combines hands-on operational excellence with senior-level portfolio leadership across telecommunications, aviation, and government services.
